Description
FR-602fine is a high-purity triazine nitrogen flame retardant developed for the epoxy resin copper-clad laminate field. In the flame retardant system, FR-602fine can be used as a spumific compound of an intumescent flame retardant system, which isolates oxygen and promotes carbonization, thereby achieving a better synergistic effect of flame retardants.
Advantages
High nitrogen content.
Ultra-fine particle size.
Excellent resin compatibility.
Comply with Swedish regulations.
Phosphorus-free.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Appearance | White Powder | |
Water/Moisture | % | 0.2 |
Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | 320 |
Average Particle Size (D50) | μm | 3 |
Usage
Ø For circuit copper clad laminate:
FR-602fine is a nitrogen-containing, phosphorus-free, halogen-free flame retardant developed for circuit copper-clad laminate, which can achieve a remarkable flame-retardant effect by adding 15% to 25% into epoxy resin. The FR-602fine system has better heat resistance, peel strength, and ion migration resistance than the organic hypophosphite aluminum system and meets the requirements of the Swedish Environmental Code.
Ø In high-frequency and high-speed fields:
FR-602fine can be applied in the dielectric loss field when a dissipation factor (DF) is less than 0.002.
Ø Have synergistic effects:
FR602fine, as a spumific compound or carbon donor, can be compounded with acid donors, aluminum diethylphosphinate - FR-ADP02, or DOPO and its derivatives, such as phosphonitrile, aluminum hydroxide, ammonium polyphosphate, melamine polyphosphate, to improve flame retardancy.
Packaging & Storage
Packaged in a paper-plastic composite bag. 20 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
