Description
CFA-T is a flame retardant additive that serves as both a char-forming agent and an acid donor. It is a great alternative to traditional carbon donors such as pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, tripentaerythritol, and pentaerythritol phosphate. When combined with other additives, CFA-T can form a new type of flame retardant. This char-forming agent has undergone ultra-fine processing to enhance its performance.
CFA-T meets RoHS, REACH EU, and PAHs requirements.
FR-CFA-T has several advantages as a flame retardant additive. It has excellent char-forming performance, meaning that it can effectively promote the formation of char during combustion. This can help slow or stop the spread of flames. Additionally, FR-CFA-T has good compatibility with polymers, allowing it to be easily incorporated into a variety of materials. These properties make FR-CFA-T a reliable and effective flame retardant additive for use in a range of applications.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Melting Point | ℃ | 200 |
Water/Moisture | % | 0.2 |
Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | 280 |
Average Particle Size (D50) | μm | 15 |
Usage
Ø In combination with Ammonium Polyphosphate (APP):
An effective flame retardant result can be obtained, with a high char-forming expanding ratio that meets the stringent requirements for flame retardancy in coatings.
Ø In combination with inorganic compounds like ALHP and silicon dioxide:
A synergistic effect can be achieved.
Ø Application Areas:
CFA-T is a versatile flame retardant additive that is commonly used in a variety of applications, including transparent wood coatings and acrylic acid coatings.
Ø Attention:
The use of inorganic fillers, including calcium carbonate, carbon black, talcum powder, barium sulfate, and magnesium hydroxide, can negatively impact the effectiveness of flame retardants.
Ø Recommendations:
If you need to change the color of a product, it is recommended to add an appropriate amount of azo color powder. The amount added should be the minimum necessary to achieve the desired color.
Packaging & Storage
Paper-plastic composite packaging. 25 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
