Usage
FR-B508 can be widely used in water-based acrylic coatings, maleic tapes, polyester adhesive tapes, acrylic emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesives, polyester non-woven adhesive tapes, and other insulation tapes. FR-B508 is also a halogen-free smoke-suppressing flame retardant for thermoplastic resins, rubber, and other blended flame-retardant effects, as well as for coatings and other fabrics.
Ø In water-based acrylic coatings:
FR-B508 can be evenly dispersed in water-based acrylic coatings. An 8% to 10% FR-B508 dosage is typically sufficient for the acrylic emulsion to have good flame retardancy. Combined with other acrylic coatings flame retardants, it can not only enhance the flame resistance, but also prevent issues like coatings getting damp and tacky caused by other flame retardants, making it an excellent option for acrylic coating applications.
Packaging & Storage
Packaged in a paper-plastic composite bag with a plastic liner. 25 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
