Description
FR-HP100 is a new type of halogen-free phosphonitrile flame retardant with P-N as the chemical backbone. It has excellent thermal stability and flame retardant synergy, with a high phosphorus content of 13.4%, compared to traditional Resorcinol bis(diphenyl phosphate) (RDP) and Bisphenol-A bis(diphenyl phosphate) (BDP). It also has a high melting point of 110°C, making it convenient to use in production operations. When mixed with epoxy resin, it can produce colorless and transparent products, making it suitable for use in copper-clad laminates, LED light-emitting diodes, encapsulation materials, powder coatings, and other fields. It has also been successfully applied in transparent PC, benzoxazine resin, polyethylene, and viscose fiber spinning. Additionally, it has little impact on the physical and mechanical properties of the material.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Appearance | White Crystal | |
Water/Moisture | % | 0.1 |
Phosphorus Content | % | 13.4 |
Melting Point | ℃ | 110 |
Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | 350 |
Chloride Ion | Ppm | 100 |
Usage
Ø In transparent epoxy resin:
FR-HP100 is a superior alternative to traditional phosphorus-bromine flame retardants and can be used in transparent epoxy resin. When used at a dosage of 15%, FR-HP100 can provide good flame retardancy to the transparent epoxy resin.
Ø In transparent PC:
Typically, using a dosage of 8% to 10% of FR-HP100 is sufficient for products to achieve the FV-0 classification.
Ø In benzoxazine resin glass cloth laminated board:
Typically, when the mass fraction of FR-HP100 is 10%, it is sufficient to achieve the FV-0 classification. Is there anything else you would like to know about FR-HP100?
Packaging & Storage
Packaged in a paper-plastic composite bag. 25 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
