Description
FR-AP1012 is a flame retardant that doesn't contain halogens and is made of phosphorus and nitrogen. It was created for use in the textile industry.
FR-AP1012 is a halogen-free phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardant that offers several advantages. It has outstanding compatibility with resins and materials, and its dispersion is uniform with no particles. It has a narrow molecular weight distribution, low water solubility, and excellent flame retardant performance. Additionally, it has excellent colloidal stability, good water immersion resistance, great thermal storage stability in aqueous emulsions processing, and little effect on the physical properties of materials.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Appearance | White Powder | |
Water/Moisture | % | 0.3 |
Phosphorus Content | % | 29 |
pH Value | 7.5 | |
Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | 280 |
Average Particle Size | μm | 18 |
Usage
Ø FR-AP1012 was designed for use in PA emulsion coatings, polyurethane coatings, and epoxy resin systems:
FR-AP1012 can be used by itself or in combination with triazine-based charring agents and melamine cyanurate (MCA) to achieve an excellent flame retardant effect. Adding 20-30% of FR-AP1012 to engineering plastics can provide excellent flame retardancy.
Packaging & Storage
Packaged in a paper-plastic composite bag with a plastic liner. 25 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
