Description
FR-AMP01 is an organic phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardant based on hypophosphite with an excellent condensed phase. FR-AMP01 does not have red phosphorus, therefore avoiding the adverse effects of acidoids generated after red phosphorus's moisture absorption. Multiple color schemes can be achieved to ensure a wider range of applications in modified flame retardant materials.
Advantages
Excellent flame retardancy in polyester.
Good compatibility with resin.
A better solution to common polyester flame retardant compounds' frangible problem.
PH3 will not be produced in the manufacturing process.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Density | g/cm3 | 1.3 |
Water/Moisture | % | 0.2 |
Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | 310 |
Average Particle Size (D50) | μm | 30 |
Usage
Ø In 30% glass fibre PBT:
For the electrical compounds to obtain the UL 94 V-0 classification at 0.8mm thickness, a dose of 18% FR-AMP01 is usually sufficient. The impact strength has increased by 10% to 20% compared to conventional flame retardants.
Ø For the requirements of CTI / GWIT / GWFI:
The compound's CTI can reach 575V. The required FR-AMP01 dose is much lower than other flame retardants for the compounds to obtain the UL 94 V-0 classification or to meet the GWFI 960°C and GWIT 750°C requirement. As a result, the density of the compounds remains low, and the mechanical properties of the compounds are kept well.
Packaging & Storage
Paper-plastic composite packaging. 20 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
