Usage
FB-PP302H can be used for copolymer and homopolymer PP, and it will not affect the heat resistance of the PP materials.
Ø In polypropylene fibre spinning:
A dose of 2% FB-PP302H is typically sufficient to reach a flame-retardant effect of self-extinguishing when the polypropylene fibre spinning is away from fire. If a B2 or higher level is required, the dose of flame-retardant masterbatch is around 5%, depending on the application.
Ø In injection-molded products, PP homopolymer:
A dose of 2% to 4% FB-PP302H is typically sufficient for the PP homopolymer compounds to obtain the UL 94 V-2 classification, pass the GWFI 960℃ test, and it complies with the halogen-free standard.
Ø In injection-molded products, PP copolymer:
A dose of 4% to 8% FB-PP302H is typically sufficient for the PP copolymer compounds to obtain the UL 94 V-2 classification, pass the GWFI 960℃ test, and it complies with the halogen-free standard.
Ø Attention:
For spinning and injection molding applications, the processing temperature should be properly controlled below 200°C and not exceed 230°C. Excessively high temperatures can cause a decrease in the stability of the flame retardant and result in the degradation of the PP material.
Packaging & Storage
Packaged in woven bags with a plastic liner. 25 kg per package.
The product is transported as non-toxic and non-hazardous goods.
The product must be kept dry and away from moisture.
