Description
FR-AP1001G is a silane-coated modified ammonium polyphosphate flame retardant. Different from conventional polyphosphoric amides, FR-AP1001G has undergone surface modification treatment to have higher temperature resistance and prevent adverse effects on material properties due to decomposition during processing.
Advantages
Higher polymerization degree than conventional ammonium polyphosphate;
Thus an increase in the degree of carbonization.
Higher temperature resistance.
Excellent compatibility with materials.
Little effect on materials' physical properties.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Appearance | White Powder | |
Water/Moisture | % | 0.3 |
Phosphorus Content | % | 30 |
pH Value | 7.0 | |
Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | 280 |
Usage
Ø Advised to use in rubber compounding:
To avoid the problem of sulfurization and foaming caused by moisture absorption. The flame retardancy can be improved by adding triazine-based charring agents, pentaerythritol, and pentaerythritol ester.
Ø In epoxy potting compound/adhesive, acrylic coatings, PP, epoxy resin, etc.:
FR-AP1001G synergizes with melamine cyanurate (MCA), triazine-based charring agents, and hypophosphite.
Packaging & Storage
Packaged in a paper-plastic composite bag with a plastic liner. 25 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
