Description
SR-500 is a silicone masterbatch that uses polyethylene resin as a carrier and ultra-high molecular weight polysiloxane as its main component. It is evenly dispersed in the polyethylene resin using a high-efficiency dispersion technique. While regular silicone masterbatches can enhance the texture and scratch resistance of materials like TPE, they can also cause compatibility issues during wire extrusion, leading to separation, accumulation, die buildup, and slag. This reduces the appearance and production efficiency of the product. SR-500 is designed to prevent these problems.

SR-500 is designed with a specially structured siloxane that forms an anchor structure, improving its compatibility with the base material. This helps to effectively minimize die swell and create a lubricating layer on the die, reducing die buildup. As a result, SR-500 can enhance the production process and improve the final product.

Applications
SR-500 can be used in TPE, TPV, PVC, etc.
Ø In extrusion and moulding:
By adding 0.3% to 3% SR-500 to the material,
SR-500 can reduce torque and head pressure during the extrusion process, resulting in increased output. It also acts as an internal lubricant, improving the dispersion of flame retardants and reducing material buildup in the die. Additionally, SR-500 can enhance mold stripping performance during injection molding, increasing the fluidity of materials and mold filling performance while reducing the injection molding cycle time.
Ø In finished product parts:
Used in fiber-reinforced products to reduce surface floating fibers.
Improve surface properties, including lubricity, smoothness, and silky touch.
The Processing Information
After the silicone masterbatch is mixed with resin, it is processed into modified materials using an extruder.
After the silicone masterbatch is evenly mixed with resin, it is injection molded into products.
Packaging & Storage
Packaged in a paper-plastic composite bag and lined with an aluminum-plastic bag. 25 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
