FR-ZDP is an organic zinc phosphinate-based flame retardant presented as a pristine white powder. Its high melting point facilitates its seamless integration into the flame retardant and polymer melt-blending process without causing blockages in spinnerets. Polyester Products:
Ideal for manufacturing polyester chips, filaments, staple fibers, and films. The flame-retardant polyester chips produced exhibit superior color retention, spinnability, fiber strength, and dyeability. FR-ZDP demonstrates a potent flame-retardant effect, notably in polyester materials, suitable for both injection molding and fiber applications.
PET:
A mere 3% addition of FR-ZDP to PET can elevate the compound's limiting oxygen index (LOI) above 30%, significantly enhancing its fire resistance.
PBT:
When combined with nitrogen-based flame retardants like melamine polyphosphate (MPP) and melamine cyanurate (MCA) in proportions of 10-15% each, FR-ZDP enables electrical compounds to achieve the stringent UL 94 V-0 classification at thicknesses of 1.6mm and 0.8mm.
PACKAGING & STORAGE
Supplied in composite paper-plastic bags with an inner plastic liner, each package weighs 25 kg.
The product should be stored in a sealed, dry, dust-free environment, ideally in a cool location to maintain its integrity.
