FR-500 is suitable for both copolymer and homopolymer PP. It can also be used in PP systems with fillers like talc or barium sulfate, but not in systems with calcium carbonate fillers.
In polypropylene (PP) copolymer：
To achieve UL 94 V-2 classification for electrical compounds with thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 3.2mm, a dose of 2% to 5% FR-500 is usually adequate. The glow wire remains non-flammable at 750°C, and passes the 960°C Glow Wire Flammability Index (GWFI) test.
To meet regulatory requirements like RoHS, REACH, PAHS, etc.:
A dose of 1% to 5% ensures the modified PP material is halogen-free, with bromine content below 900PPM. No precipitation occurs during the use of the flame retardant.

can be used in heater housing, heater impeller, air drum, surge protector, coil skeleton, polypropylene propylene spinning, etc
