Description
FR-ADP01 is a white flame retardant that contains phosphorus and is based on organic aluminum. It is primarily used in engineering plastics such as TPE (e.g. TPEE, TPU), polyester (e.g. PET, PBT), and polyamide (including those reinforced with glass fiber).
FR-ADP01 has several advantages as a flame retardant. It is highly hydrophobic, meaning it repels water, and it has high-temperature resistance, making it suitable for use in high-heat environments. Additionally, FR-ADP01 does not migrate, ensuring that it remains in place and continues to provide protection against fire.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Phosphorus Content | % (w/w) | 23-24 |
Density | g/cm3 | 1.35 |
Bulk Density | g/cm3 | 300 |
Water/Moisture | % (w/w) | 0.2 |
Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | 350 |
Average Particle Size (D50) | μm | 5 |
Usage
Ø In TPE, including TPEE and TPU:
When combined with nitrogen flame retardants such as melamine polyphosphate or cyanurate, FR-ADP01 exhibits excellent flame retardant performance. By using an appropriate ratio and a total addition of 35% to 40%, the compounds can meet the VW-1 flammability test standard.
Ø In hot melt adhesives, coatings, sealants, and other thin-walled material parts:
FR-ADP01 has several desirable properties, including good surface quality, dispersibility, and resistance to hydrolysis and ion migration. It also has strong overall mechanical properties. Is there anything else you would like to know about this topic?
Packaging & Storage
Packaged in a paper-plastic composite bag and lined with a plastic bag. 20 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
