Description
FR-MPP200 is a new type of melamine polyphosphate flame retardant that has been processed to be spherical and surface-treated to prevent decomposition during processing, which can adversely affect material properties.
FR-MPP200 is a flame retardant that offers several advantages. It has a higher decomposition temperature and temperature resistance compared to other MPPs on the market. It also has good compatibility with substrate materials and has little impact on the physical properties of materials.
Typical Properties
Physical Properties | Unit | Target Value |
Appearance | White Powder | |
Water/Moisture | % | 0.2 |
Phosphorus Content | % | 15 |
Decomposition Temperature | ℃ | 350 |
Average Particle Size (D50) | μm | 5 |
Usage
Ø In flame retardant systems:
Flame retardant systems can be used in epoxy resins, polyamide, polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene, and other polyolefin materials.
Ø In combination with ammonium polyphosphate (APP) and hypophosphite:
There is a synergistic effect.
Ø In PA6/66 with glass fibre and glass fibre reinforced PBT:
To obtain the UL 94 V-0 classification, a typical dose of 18% FR-MPP200 and hypophosphite combination is sufficient for the compounds.
Packaging & Storage
Paper-plastic composite packaging. 25 kg per package.
The product must be sealed, kept dry, dust-free, and cool.
