The FB-PP500H is a flame retardant masterbatch formulated with an eco-conscious blend of bromine, phosphorus, and nitrogen, encapsulated in a polypropylene (PP) carrier resin.

FB-PP500H is compatible with both copolymer and homopolymer PP resins, as well as PP formulations incorporating fillers such as talc or barium sulfate. Not recommended for use in calcium carbonate-filled systems.
In Homopolymer PP:
To achieve UL 94 V-2 flammability rating for electrical compounds across thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 3.2mm, a 2%-3% addition of FB-PP500H typically suffices. This dosage satisfies both GWFI at 960°C and GWIT at 775°C standards.
In Copolymer PP:
For similar UL 94 V-2 classification within the same thickness range, an effective dosage of FB-PP500H ranges from 4% to 10%. It also clears the GWFI 960°C and GWIT 775℃ benchmarks.
Regulatory Compliance Enhancement:
When the usage of FB-PP500H stays below 10% concentration, the bromine content remains under 900PPM, enabling the modified PP compound to adhere to halogen-free standards.
Supplied in 25 kg packages, each consisting of a woven bag lined with plastic for added protection.
